The Add tool takes the image in the secondary buffer and adds it to the image
in the primary buffer. This tool is very similar to the Rub Thru tool, in
that the images match up exactly on top of each other. The result of this
combination is an average of the primary and the secondary image.
If you would like to see an example of the \{ \ts b Algebraic Add \}
composition, on the current primary and secondary buffers, \{ \ts b \tc 15
\rexxlink "Press Here" "imdoc:rexx/add.rexx"\} .

The Subtract tool takes the image in the secondary buffer and subtracts it
from the image in the primary. Subtract acts similar to the Rub Thru tool,
in that the images match up exactly on top of each other. The subtractions
result is shown so that the a middle grey means that the two images are
identical.
If you would like to see an example of the \{ \ts b Algebraic Subtract \}
composition, on the current primary and secondary buffers, \{ \ts b \tc 15

The Absolute Add will add the primary and secondary buffers, in the selected
area in an absolute sense. An example would be the absolute add of two middle
grey in a specific area will result in white.
If you would like to see an example of the \{ \ts b Algebraic Absolute Add \}
composition, on the current primary and secondary buffers, \{ \ts b \tc 15

\title "Absolute Subtract"
\next ""
\prev "mca_absadd"
The Absolute Subtract will subtract the primary and secondary buffers, in a
selected area, in an absolute sense. For example, if both images in the
selected area contain a middle grey the result of an absolute subtract would
be black.
If you would like to see an example of the \{ \ts b Algebraic Absolute
Subtract \} composition, on the current primary and secondary buffers, \{ \ts
b \tc 15 \rexxlink "Press Here" "imdoc:rexx/abssub.rexx"\} .
